A devout young lady deserving of recognition has caught our attention in this week’s edition of the SPOTLIGHT.

Nana Adwoa Nkuma Johnson is a third-year doctoral student at Jiangsu University, China, majoring in Food Science and Engineering. She obtained her Masters’ degree in the same school and department and her undergraduate from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

Nana Adwoa has been a devoted member of NUGS-Zhenjiang since 2016 when she came to China. Her active involvement in the chapter activities as a member, Financial Controller (2018/2019), and current President of NUGS – Zhenjiang demonstrates her commitment. She serves as the National Project Committee chair for the 2021/2022 academic year.

When asked what she does for leisure, she said making money. She takes delight in window shopping and sourcing goods online as an entrepreneur. She likes to watch movies, listen to music, cook, and eat on the fun side. Nana Adwoa takes delight in helping people achieve what they want in whichever way she can. She believes in partnership, teamwork and unity. She is also open to ideas and suggestions always.
