Our lens caught up with a multi-talented young man deserving of recognition on this week’s edition of Spotlight.
Mr. Baidoo Emmanuel Ato Kwamina, better known by the sobriquets of “Dj Ato K.” & “Ato Kwamina,” is a third-year master’s student majoring in International Trade at Shanghai Maritime University. He obtained a BSc. in Logistics Management at Regional Maritime University/Shanghai Maritime University (Exchange Program).
Ato Kwamina is a staunch member of NUGS-China who served the Union at the Chapter and National levels. He served as an organizer for NUGS-Shanghai (2020/2021). He served at the national level as a member of the 2020/2021 National Welfare Committee and Local Organizing Committees for the 32nd & 33rd Annual Congress. He’s currently the Provincial Coordinator of NUGS-Shanghai Chapter, National Senate Vice-Chairperson and Production Manager of NUGS-China radio.
At his leisure times, he; listens to music from various genres and carves playlists for radio/commercial mixes and events; listens to podcasts; watches movies, life hacks, and IT tutorials; chats/hangouts with friends keeps himself updated on current happenings in various sectors.
Ato Kwamina also gained a great deal of working experience as an intern at Ghana Ports and Harbor Authority (GPHA). He is currently an assiduous supply chain manager at MAT Logistics and Consultancy.
