NUGS-HARBIN CHAPTER was birth on the 28^th September,2019 at a Meeting held with H.E Edward Boateng, Ghana’s Ambassador to the Republic of China, Mr. Felix Eddie Arthur Counsellor/Multilateral & Diaspora Affairs and some Ghanaian students in Harbin on the eve of the celebration of the 4^th International Cultural Festival of Harbin Engineering University.

The Chapter held its maiden meeting on 1^st December, 2019 at Harbin Engineering University with 20 students in attendance. Currently the Chapter has a membership strength of 37 students from Harbin Engineering University, Harbin Medical University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin University of Commerce, Northeast Forestry University and Northeast Agricultural University.
