This award is to reward members who have been diligent in their studies in relation to coursework and research work and to shed light on the good works being accomplished by Ghanaian students across various institutions in China.

MAIN ACADEMIC AWARDS

1. MAIN ACADEMIC CATEGORY

  1. Bachelors
  2. Masters
  3. PhD
  4. Medical

Documents to Submit

  1. Official Academic transcripts
  2. Scientific Publications, i.e., books or articles (Classified as SCI, SSCI, or other) in which the member is either the first author, second author, third author, or corresponding author (if any). Please download the Proof of Publication form here if you have any publications.
  3. Patent or any recognized projects (if any)
  4. Any other relevant documents

2. SPECIAL ACADEMIC CATEGORY

  • Female Researcher
  • Male Researcher

Documents to Submit

  1. Scientific Publications, i.e., books or articles (Classified as SCI, SSCI, or other) in which the member is either the first author, second author, third author, or corresponding author (if any). Please download the Proof of Publication form here if you have any publications.
  2. List the number of citations (H-index) for qualifying papers where the individual is the first author, second author, or corresponding author. (Scopus, ResearchGate, Web of Science, Google Scholar, Academia &others)
  3. Patent or any recognized projects (if any)
  4. Any other relevant documents

3. THE IMPACTFUL RESEARCH AWARD

This category recognizes members whose projects are practical in nature, addressing critical issues in Ghana, and aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Documents to Submit

The paper or project being considered for the award should meet the following criteria:

  1. The applicant is the first/second author.
  2. The publication is classified as SCI, SSCI, or SCIE.
  3. The paper/project being considered should be attached.

Application Criteria: Applicant should be a registered NUGS-China member in good standing and should have completed at least 1 academic year of their studies.
