Creative projects are the perceptible outcome of creative behavior and creative thinking. Not being oblivious of most creative and prominent abilities of student in the diaspora, we have structured this programme for students to showcase their breakthrough to the outside world. TUNNEL LIGHT is the first ever exhibition program on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business Operation. This exhibition seeks to create avenues for projects funding/support and improvement from selected organizations, companies and other bodies that will be present for the exhibition. Participant will have the opportunity to showcase their projects to possible investors and employers who will be present during this exhibition programs. The program also seeks to create a link between student studying in the diaspora and industries around.
We welcome Individuals with creative and fresh ideas as well as those who have made use of their creativity to produce tangible products. We are committed to supporting the creation and presentation of ambitious work, innovations and business operations. We accept projects/business proposal in any medium at any stage as long as the work being submitted demonstrably pushes the socio-economic development aspect of our mission as a union.

NUGS-China Project Space will devote the third quarter of the 2020/2021 academic year to ‘TUNNEL LIGHT’, a thematically curated series of projects and business exhibitions that bring together individuals with diverse studies and business operations to promote individual and team work creativity as a force for socio-economic development.
To see a “tunnel light”; a sign of a long-awaited indication that a period of hardship or adversity is nearing an end. We know how challenging it is also to get a project/business idea out in order to attract support from the community. We also know the demand for talents on innovative products. As a response to the challenge and the demands in the market that are not only limited to having knowledge, but also more about how impeccably one can present that knowledge, TUNNEL LIGHT proposes a need to help students to experiment with their knowledge and provide them with a larger platform to showcase their talents and innovations to a broader audience. TUNNEL LIGHT seeks to promote your project to a successful end and help attract further funding and support through increased awareness.

Application is open from January 10 – February 10, 2021. This exhibition is opened to all Ghanaian students in the diaspora. Teams with Non-Ghanaian nationals are acceptable. Teams should consist of at least one Ghanaian national. Interested applicants should register using the link form.

Late submissions will not be accepted. (Please allow time for possible reach to external bodies who may be of great importance to know about your project)

We also encourage students to work together in groups if possible and learn from each other. TUNNEL LIGHT is an avenue for sharing of ideas and collectively galvanize those ideas to bring something innovative into implementation.

We can usually support with expenses needed to reach out to external institutions, organizations, companies or bodies who may be potential investors or support to your project or business proposal.
Funding/support beyond the above is not guaranteed, but we are happy to provide letters of support and will work to connect participants with local resources that could provide additional funding and connections.
